Wilkes River Run : April 21, 2012

The Wilkes River Run is the second annual race of our Celebration Church Run for God Team. This year we will have a 5K that will take in the beautiful Yadkin River Greenway and a 10K that will also take in the Reddies River Trail. Both races will follow these historic rivers and provide a scenic route for our participants.

The races' start and finish will be at Brushy Mtn Dental Offices (formerly Lion and Lamb Coffee Tavern) located at 1401 Willow Lane, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. TIMING provided by professional timing company.

The race is being sponsord by Celebration Church and sanctioned by Run for God. Our mission is two-fold, to raise awareness and funding for Ebenezer Children's Home and to promote physical and spiritual health through the sport of running. All proceeds from the race will go directly to Ebenezer Children's Home located in North Wlkesboro, NC.

From all the children and staff at Ebenezer Christian Children's Home, we would like to sincerely thank each one of you who volunteered, prayed, and gave monetarily to the Fall 2011 Share-A-Thon.  Because of you support we were able to raise a total of $30,010 and continue to provide a loving, Christian, nurturing environment for the children we are blessed to serve.  We also plan to open "The John Shepherd Home" in the near future.  We want to also thank you for your continued donations and support as we move forward in this endeavor that God has prepare for us.  You can find out the many more ways you can support Ebenezer by clicking Donate.  We again thank every one of you and hope you have a blessed day.
