Ebenezer's 23rd Annual Golf Tournament will be held Friday, September 9th at Brushy Mountain Golf Club (300 Golf Course Lane, Taylorsville, NC). There will be cash prizes, door prizes, and a meal included. Tee-off will take place at 8:00am and 1:00pm. Four man team, captain's choice. To register, please contact our office either by phone (336-667-5683) or through our website. Registration fee is $75/person until September 2nd or $85/person after September 2nd, and can be paid by check or through PayPal by clicking here. Please indicate in the memo line that your payment is for golf registration. Sponsorship opportunities are also available- please contact us for more information. We are excited for you to join us!
Share-A-Thon is a time when we reach out to our neighbors with the opportunity to partner with us in the mission of serving children. We want the children we serve to have a happy, healthy childhood. Going the extra mile requires great investment in time, energy, and money. We are a non-profit organization and rely on donations and the support of our community to provide a safe place for the children we serve to laugh, play, and dream. We will be in Jefferson and West Jefferson, NC on Friday, June 3rd collecting donations and providing information about Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home and our mission. We hope to see you then!

We would love for you to join the Jeep Fest fundraiser happening on Saturday, October 23rd from 11am-4pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hudson, NC. Bring your Jeep to showcase ($15 registration fee) and enjoy some food, fun, and fellowship! All proceeds from the event will benefit Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home.

Join Wilkes Tire & Auto July 24th from 11am-1pm. There will be food and music, and Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home will receive a donation for each classic car. We look forward to seeing you there!
Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home has held Share-a-Thon fundraisers in the past, but because of Covid-19, this Share-a-Thon will look different than the rest! We invite you to join us virtually on Saturday, February 27th for a livestream of our Share-a-Thon, which will be kicking off at 1pm. You can find the livestream of the event on our Facebook page or on our website under the “Share-a-Thon” tab. We will have performances from different groups, and will be sharing updates about ECCH, along with testimonies from Ebenezer staff, foster families, and former children that have been served by ECCH.
We have recently been blessed with a donation of two tracts of land in Hudson and Old Fort, and feel led by the Lord to create new safe spaces for children in need. Despite challenges with the Covid-19 pandemic hindering our ability to have in-person fundraising events, we are expanding, purely because of our trust in the Lord. Our specific goal for this Share-a-Thon is to raise funds to help build a new residential home in each of these areas.

You can tune in to the Share-a-Thon event on February 27th, share the event and spread the word to others, make donation pledges, and of course, pray for us as we pursue this mission. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a closed dedication ceremony of the Grace Haven home, located in Siler City, will be taking place on Friday, October 23rd. Private tours of the home will take place Friday afternoon and throughout the day on Saturday, October 24th. If you would like to schedule a tour of the home either day, you can contact us through the contact page on our website or by emailing info@egcch.org. We appreciate your support and continued prayers for the Grace Haven home.
Interested in foster care or adoption? Our foster parenting classes will be beginning soon! Classes will start March 10th and will be held in Wilkes on the Ebenezer campus. Classes will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-9pm (with dinner provided), for five weeks. Informational interviews will be held February 12th. Call (336) 667-5683 or email Heather Cain (heathercain13@gmail.com) to schedule a time or to get more information. If this day does not work for you, please let us know and we will work with you to find another time for your interview.

The Blue Knights will be hosting an ice cream social and backpack run for the children of Ebenezer’s! Below is information from their Facebook event:
Ice Cream Social & Backpack run. Meet at Smith Crossroads in Lenoir (Chick-fil-A shopping center) at 12:00. Ride to CrossRoads Harley-Davidson in Wilkesboro to meet up with some more folks. Then ride to Ebenezer Children's Home for an ice cream social and to pass out backpacks.
Ebenezer houses a variety of ages so we don't want to give teenagers crayons and coloring books or give kindergarteners hi-liters, so we are hoping that we can put together age-appropriate backpacks full of school supplies. A list will be available.
Ebenezer is a great ministry that the Blue Knights, Red Knights, and Guardians of Children support at Christmas time and because we enjoy their fellowship so much, and did not want to limit seeing them only at Christmas time, we continued our partnership to create an ice cream social. Initially, we only charged an ice cream topping as the ride fee, but we ended up with so many ice cream toppings. What we are doing this year is just asking for age-appropriate school supplies.

Help us celebrate Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home’s 25th anniversary by joining us for a concert with the Talley Trio gospel group on July 13th at the Stone Center. Doors will open at 5:30pm and the concert will begin at 6:00pm. This will be a FREE ticketed event. Please call the Ebenezer office at 336-667-5683 to reserve your tickets. Join Ebenezer Christian Children’s Home May 13th-May 15th as we celebrate 25 years of serving God and loving children with a tent revival! Services will begin at 7pm each evening in the Just Save parking lot (340 Sparta Road, N. Wilkesboro) and will feature a different guest speaker each night (see picture below), as well as special singing, and testimony about the journey of foster care and adoption. We hope you’ll join us, and we pray that each person in attendance is richly blessed through the experience of our shared worship. To God be the glory!

You won't want to miss the Christian Round Up on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7 in the Lone Hickory Indoor Arena. Doors open at 5:00 PM and services begins at 6:00 PM. Admission is free, and a love offering will be taken. Musical guests include the Allan Scott Band, Simple Faith, and Crosby Lane. Neal Hatfield will be bringing the message. Seating is general admission. Concessions will be available. At the event, there will be a collection for non-perishable food items, paper items and cleaning supplies for Ebenezer Christian Children's Home. Monetary donations for Ebenezer will be collected as well.

Traditions Pottery located on Main Street in Blowing Rock will be hosting a give-back day. On September 8th, 30% of sales between 2-6pm will be given to Ebenezer Christian Children's Home. We hope you'll take this opportunity to support local artists while also supporting the kids!
Wilkesboro Dragway invites you to join them for a day of fun and racing, benefiting Ebenezer Christian Children's Home. August 18th they will be holding bicycle races ($10 to enter) and day-long raffles. They also invite you to bring school supplies and donations for Ebenezer. Gates open at 12:00 with time runs beginning at 2:00. We hope you'll join in on the racing fun!

On Saturday, May 26, 2018, Calvary Advent Christian Church in Lenoir, NC will host live music and a silent auction to benefit Ebenezer Christian Children's Home from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are excited to announce our upcoming classes for Foster Care and Adoption services. One of the state requirements to become a licensed foster home is TIPS-MAPP (Trauma Informed Partnering for Safety & Permanence-Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting) classes. This is a 30 hour class. If you are only interested in adoption most counties we currently serve require that you take this class as well.
We have scheduled MAPP to begin on Tuesday, April 10th. The classes will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall located at 3929 Johnson Street High Point, NC 27265. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm to 9:00pm beginning April 10th. We will be providing a meal before each night of the training since most of you will be coming from work. If you are married, it is required that both spouses attend the class sessions.
One of our requirements is that each participate complete an online training and print out a confirmation certificate prior to TIPS-MAPP class starting. This process should be less than 20 minutes. You can access this video at www.ncswlearn.org and click on Foster Parent Orientation. Husbands and wives may watch the video together, but each will need to print a confirmation page. Please bring the confirmation page to the first night of class.
Once you have completed your application and completed the Foster Parent Orientation on line, please call our office to set up a time for an interview. Interviews will be done on Wednesday, March 28th from 8:30am to 5:30pm. If this date will not work for you, please let us know and we will try and work out another date for your interview.
